Resnais Hat Trick - COMING SOON

  1. So that will be 'Night and fog' - very effective, tough going (as one would expect) but at least short (You have Shoah yet to come I believe..)
;Hiroshima mon amour... well, I struggled at times with this one
and 'Last year at Marienbad'. Sort of the quintesential European art film..I have not the slightest idea what is going on.. but there is something about this oneIi really like.. but will struggle to justify to you..but I will not jump the gun!

    1. I'm actually planning to do "Shoah" fairly soon.

I've heard horror stories about how hard "Marienbad" is to follow. Although I will say that I am usually highly intrigued by confusing films and Delphine Seyrig is a favorite of mine, so I'm looking forward to it.

"Hiroshima" LOOKS good, but I have a feeling the looks of this one are deceiving. "Night and Fog" will probably be too short to amount to anything, but here's hoping that SOMETHING short finally catches my attention.
