  2. Well lowes, it's just a movie that clicked perfectly with me from the first time I saw it. I think the acting is incredible. There are a few scenes where simple dialogue is converted to such powerful speech that it almost makes you tear up (ex. Virginia Madsen describing why she likes wine - she describes it with such passion). I don't know really, it just appealed to my personal tastes perfectly - a simply story about real people, going through real situations with a light mix of comedy.

  3. Wow, can't believe I've run across a blog where someone has watched all 1k movies. I find it interesting to see the different taste people have in film. Most of the silent films I've seen on the 1k list were incredibly difficult to watch. How you maintained complete focus is nothing short of extraordinary. I'm halfway through the list, so still a lot of work to do..
