The Final 15 and Other Notes

Some of you may remember that back when I first began this 100, I announced that, for the most part, I had a list of scheduled movies that I wanted to tackle throughout this 100. As we near the end of the 100, I can say that I managed to stick to that schedule pretty strictly. Once in a while I'd swap out something for something else, so that I could still keep a little control and not feel tied to a specific order.

This 100 was thick with films from the 1960s, and I think that device helped me to find more favorites that are from that decade. For the curious, the next 100 is already scheduled and I'll be doing a preview in a couple of weeks, when we get ready to kickoff the "Road to 500".

Anyway, to get to the point of this post. Here is the next 15 films that you will see me review here on the blog. Of course, as always, this is tentative. Things change and things become unavailable, but if I can help it, this WILL BE the final 15 of this 100.

There you have it. That may not be the particular order that I'll watch them in, but those are the ones that I'll watch, barring unexpected circumstances.

GODARD WEEK NOTE

When I first scheduled "Godard Week", I had access to every Jean-Luc Godard film in the book, except for "Week End". Wanting to fit "Godard Week" in and not wanting to skip anything, I searched YouTube and actually found it. When I got ready to start "Godard Week" this past weekend, I went to make sure it was still there and what do you know, it wasn't. I decided to go ahead with my plans anyway. So, in conclusion, "Godard Week" will commence, but it will not have a conclusion. When I find "Week End" (weeks, months, years) I will watch it and the "Godard Week" headline will conclude.

That takes care of business for now. I know you guys usually like it when I post what I'll be watching and I look forward to hearing any comments you may have regarding the aforementioned films.
