1001 Movies are history. I've watched them and spent time with them all, by writing about them.
Now...the real challenge begins.
I continue watching. I continue rating. I continue building my own list of 1000 films (because who needs that extra 1?)
So that will be 'Night and fog' - very effective, tough going (as one would expect) but at least short (You have Shoah yet to come I believe..) ;Hiroshima mon amour... well, I struggled at times with this one and 'Last year at Marienbad'. Sort of the quintesential European art film..I have not the slightest idea what is going on.. but there is something about this oneIi really like.. but will struggle to justify to you..but I will not jump the gun! I've heard horror stories about how hard "Marienbad" is to follow. Although I will say that I am usually highly intrigued by confusing films and Delphine Seyrig is a favorite of mine, so I'm looking forward to it.
"Hiroshima" LOOKS good, but I have a feeling the looks of this one are deceiving. "Night and Fog" will probably be too short to amount to anything, but here's hoping that SOMETHING short finally catches my attention.

I'm actually planning to do "Shoah" fairly soon.
