But there's something about the sort of hate that the film represents that was so powerful. Plus the story was solid and the climax was superb, in my view.Andrew D.https://www.blogger.com/profile/13875921908336809524noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9031921900753703734.post-79654653951502560292013-03-17T03:40:07.166-04:002013-03-17T03:40:07.166-04:00Sorry, I strongly disliked this film.. but that is...Sorry, I strongly disliked this film.. but that is my failing.
The characters are so horrible, I let that colour my view of the film as a film.
You make a great point that yu like that the film doesn't tell us which side to choose. Normaly i am VERY much with you on that. I tend to dislike films (or books for that matter) that tell us all is black or white , good or bad. Life is never that simple.. so i am all for flawed heros and bad guys with redeeming points.. but my own feelings (pejudices I guess) stopped me doing that with this one and these people.
You finish with the way we should see it.. if disgusted with the characters, see it as very good acting/direction.
Good for you, and a failing on my part.
RayAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
